Engineered Signage & Identification Solutions for Power Infrastructure

Substation Graphics specializes in safety signage and labeling systems designed specifically for electrical substations and utility environments. Our services support safety compliance, equipment identification, and operational clarity for EPC contractors, utilities, and maintenance teams working in high-voltage facilities.

Printing Solutions from Substation Graphics

Arc Flash Labeling (NFPA 70E)

We produce arc-flash labels formatted to meet NFPA 70E labeling requirements using data from your arc-flash studies and protection reports. Labels display incident energy values, hazard boundaries, PPE requirements, and approach limits in clear, standardized layouts designed for fast field recognition.

All arc-flash labels are manufactured using outdoor-rated materials and protective laminates built for long-term durability in substation environments.

Electrical Safety Signage

Our electrical safety signage includes standardized danger, warning, caution, and notice signs formatted to comply with OSHA and ANSI Z535 guidelines. Products are available in vinyl, reflective, and aluminum substrates for both indoor and outdoor use throughout substations, switchyards, control rooms, and perimeter zones.

Substation Equipment Identification

We provide custom equipment identification labeling systems for breakers, transformers, relays, cabinets, feeders, bus structures, foundations, and panels. Labels are generated directly from drawings, schedules, or tag databases to ensure field consistency with commissioning and as-built documentation.

Clear identification supports safer switching, faster maintenance verification, and smoother QA/QC inspections.

Utility Safety Signage

Our utility signage services include large-format hazard warnings, perimeter markings, access notices, restricted area signage, directional signs, and substation placards required for regulatory compliance and operational safety.

Signage systems are engineered to meet long-term durability expectations consistent with UL 969 marking standards for outdoor power infrastructure.

Durable Outdoor Materials

All products are manufactured using field-engineered marking systems selected to withstand continuous UV exposure, temperature cycling, chemical washdowns, and abrasion common to energized facilities.

Available materials include:

  • UV-stable laminated vinyl labels
  • Reflective substrates for low-visibility zones
  • Aluminum backed placards and signage
  • Industrial adhesives compatible with painted and powder-coated steel

Custom & Specialty Signage

For site-specific needs, we provide custom signage including:

  • One-line diagram signage
  • Facility identification placards
  • Equipment nameplates
  • Traffic and safety zone markers
  • Project branding or site wayfinding systems

We work directly with engineering and field teams to produce solutions aligned with site standards and installation workflows.

Project Support & Packaging

Substation Graphics supports construction and outage schedules through:

  • Fast quoting based on equipment lists or drawings
  • Batch production scaled for commissioning windows
  • Organized label kits staged by equipment group or work zone
  • Clear installation documentation

Our delivery process is designed to integrate smoothly into EPC turnover and energization schedules.
